Doocey elected as Assembly Chair
Liberal Democrat Assembly Member Dee Doocey has been elected as the Chair of the London Assembly for the coming year with Labour’s Jennette Arnold re-elected as Deputy Chair. The pair were elected at this morning’s Assembly AGM by a majority of AMs, with the Assembly Conservative group proposing Andrew Boff and Victoria Borwick for the positions.
