The London Assembly will tomorrow (Thursday, 13th May) hold its Annual General Meeting where it will elect a Chair and Deputy Chair for the year ahead.
Last year Green Party AM Darren Johnson was elected Chair with Labour’s Jennette Arnold, the previous term’s Chair, elected as Deputy.
Other items on the agenda include the establishment of the Assembly’s committees and sub-committees and appointment of menders to them and the re-establishment of the Standards Committee.
Assembly Members will also meet next Wednesday (19th May 2010) for the first Mayor’s Question Time since
Tomorrow’s meeting, which is open to the public, will be held in the Chamber at City Hal at 10AM. It will also be available as a webcast via london.gov.uk
