TravelWatch wants Circle Line customers feedback

December 11, 2009 by Staff

London’s passenger watchdog is reminding people that changes to Circle Line service come into effect from this Sunday, 13 December and is asking passengers to share their experiences of the new service.

The changes will see trains travelling clockwise (via Kings Cross) start at Hammersmith on the Hammersmith and City Line, from there they’ll travel to Edgware Road, and then around the full circle to terminate at Edgware Road.

Anti-clockwise (via Victoria) Circle Line train will start at Edgware Road, complete the circle and carry on to Hammersmith.

Sharon Grant, Chair, London TravelWatch said: “While this change is radical, we are hopeful that it will make the Circle Line – which has struggled with delays and cancellations – more reliable with fewer delays for passengers. We have worked closely with TfL to ensure that clear signage and information is available to passengers, and supported the trials undertaken.

“This could mean a period of uncertainty for some passengers, and we will monitor any issues. We would be delighted to hear from passengers at info@londontravelwatch.org.uk about their experiences of the Circle Line extension.”
