Trafalgar Square Cafe Re-Opens

February 2, 2007 by Staff

This week saw the re-opening of Trafalgar Square’s Café on the Square under the new management of Jill Bartlett and Co Ltd.

Located at the bottom of the central staircase the cafe will be offering breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea menu, plus hot drinks and snacks, from 10am – 6.00pm, 7 days a week.

The re-opening has been welcomed by Mayor of London Ken Livingstone who called the cafe “a key part of the visitor experience”. Mr Livingstone also welcomed a recent planning decision by Westminster City Council to allow a new outdoor signage scheme.

To tie-in with Valentines Week the café will be hosting an English chocolate tasting promotion. There are also plans to mark the Chinese New Year celebrations taking place on Sunday 18th February with fortune cookies and a selection of oriental dishes, beers and beverages.
