Top Ten London Film Locations Announced

Battersea Park is London’s most popular filming location according to figures released by Film London, the body which promotes the capital to film and television makers.

The park has taken the top spot from the BA London Eye which is now in second place after heading up the list for the past two years.

Regent’s Park, Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens, St James’s Park and Richmond Park also appear in the top ten alongside iconic landmarks Tate Modern and Millennium Bridge, visitor attraction the Natural History Museum and the riverside walkway of the Southbank.

Adrian Wootton, CEO of Film London said it was “great to see the capital’s locations proving a firm favourite with all types of production” adding “from iconic buildings which immediately place the action in London as used in The Apprentice or 28 Weeks Later, to settings which can double for other places or provide a more general backdrop, the capital’s unrivalled range of locations continues to be a major draw for film production”
