On Wednesday the London Assembly will continue its investigations into the effects of the government’s Comprehensive Spending Review on public services in the capital.
AMs will question Metropolitan Police Authority Chair and fellow AM Kit Malthouse and Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Paul Stephenson on the implications of the Comprehensive Spending Review on the future of policing in the capital.
They will then question London Development Agency Chair Harvey McGrath, Chief Executive Sir Peter Rogers and Boris Johnson’s Chief of Staff Sir Simon Milton on the implications of the CSR and devolution proposals for the future of activities currently carried out by the Agency.
On Thursday the London Elections Working Group will meet to discuss lessons learnt from the 2010 elections in the planning of the 2012 Greater London Authority (GLA) elections
