Port of London Authority public meeting

The Port of London Authority is holding a public meeting on Wednesday 16 February 2011 where members of the public will be able to senior managers about the PLA’s work.

PLA chief executive, Richard Everitt will host the meeting with chief harbour master, David Snelson. They will begin the discussion and also answer questions about PLA operations and work on the river. The meeting will focus on matters affecting the tidal River between Putney and Teddington.

Mr Everitt said the meeting was “for people interested in the work of the PLA on the Thames now and in the future – from leisure and recreational issues through to the need to ensure good safety. This will be an opportunity for us to listen to people’s concerns and ideas and to discuss our work.”

The meeting is being held at London Rowing Club, Putney Embankment, SW15 1LB from 6.30pm
