The Wellington Arch and London Wall are just some of the heritage sites featured in a new smartphone app from English Heritage aimed at helping find destinations for an educational and fun day out.
English Heritage’s Days Out App contains information on some of the England and London’s most important and popular destinations.
The app is available for the iPhone and Google Android smartphones.
As well as details of events, booking and price information and opening times, the app also offers picture galleries, ‘bios’ of each location and the ability to share details with friends via popular social network sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
The free app is available to download from Android Market Place and the App Store
