New Assembly Announce First Meeting Date

June 15, 2004 - Staff

The 2004-2008 Session of the London Assembly will commence on Friday when they meet at City Hall to elect the Chair & Deputy Chair of the Assembly and to establish the membership of various committees.

It will also be asked to note the appointment of Nicky Gavron as Deputy Mayor and any other appointments
the Mayor has made.

It will also make appointments the following bodies:

  • The Advisory
    Board of the Centre for Public Scrutiny (CfPS) – one nomination
  • The
    Commission for Racial Equality (CRE) London Board – three nominations
  • Local Government Regional Forum – two nominations
  • London Health
    Commission – one nomination
  • London Regional Arts Council – two
    nominations

The meeting starts at 10am, Friday 18th June in the chamber at City Hall. The full agenda can be found here (external link)
