National Gallery talks to coincide with new Channel 4 arts series

The National Gallery is hosting a series of talks throughout October to coincide with a new Channel 4 series of “passionate polemics” on how British art makes us who we are today and gives us a vision of ourselves.

With presenters including David Starkey, Janet Street Porter and cultural commentator Dr Augustus Casely-Hayford The Genius of British Art will air next month.

Each presenter will also appear in a one-off talk, sponsored by Hiscox, at the National Gallery as part of their Friday night Late programme.

Tickets are priced at £6 (£4 for concessions) and can be booked online at nationalgallery.org.uk
