The House of Commons Culture, Media and Sport Committee is to take further oral evidence as part of its ongoing inquiry into preparations for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
MPs will be looking into the costs of staging the Games as well as funding methods including the mechanism for supplementing the existing package as set out in the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government and the Mayor of London.
They will also be looking at ways of maximising the value of the Olympic legacy both within London and across the UK and the nations and regions of the UK might derive lasting benefit from the Games.
The session will take place in the Grimond Room, Portcullis House on Tuesday 21 November at 10.30am and witnesses will include Representatives of London 2012 Nations and Regions Group and Culture Secretary Tessa Jowell.
