Mayor of London Ken Livingstone has issued a statement of thanks to the Metropolitan Police Service’s Anti-Terror officers following news that three suspects have been charged in connection with the 7 July attacks on London.
In his statement the Mayor said:
“The Metropolitan Police Service deserve the thanks of Londoners for their unrelenting work in pursuing the investigation into the murders on 7 July. The Met’s work is essential in finding and bringing to trial everyone who was involved in the atrocities on July 7th 2005.”
“I would like to add my support to the call today for anyone who has any information that may assist this investigation to contact the police so that we can bring to justice everyone who participated in these terrorist attacks.”
