The Low Pay Commission is visiting the capital for a fact-finding visit on 20 and 21 May. Commissioners Susan Anderson, Bob Elliott, Ian Hay and Heather Wakefield will be meeting with businesses and workers to hear what impact the National Minimum Wage is having.
Bob Elliott said: “We want to hear the views of groups with an interest in the minimum wage. Listening to those directly affected by the minimum wage is a crucial part of the Commission’s work in making recommendations to the Government. We welcome the opportunity to hear how it has affected people in London”.
