Lord Mayor of London Ian Luder is leading a business delegation on a four day visit to Turkey in a bid to improve the City’s ties with key decision makers to enhance partnerships across a range of key sectors including finance, legal, education and maritime.
During his trip the Lord Mayor will meet Turkish officials and take part in meetings on Alternative Dispute Resolution, PPP (Public Private Partnership), Islamic Finance and Corporate Governance.
Lord Mayor Luder said: “Turkey is an important global partner in commerce and industry with a highly dynamic and flexible private sector – and a government that is determined to create the conditions for it to flourish further. The City of London is working closely with Turkey as it develops its financial services, and this visit is a key element in that partnership.”
