London Transport Museum – July events

The London Transport Museum is hosting two new events next month including the launch of a new pop-up “theatrical adventure” and a look at how film “can be used to document a place or journey”.

Film Screening: Cine-mapping – Tuesday 3rd July, 6.30pm
Discover how film can be used to document a place or journey, creating an audio visual map that brings an area to life. Using film extracts guest speakers Christian Grou of Neutral and Chris Allen from The Light Surgeons, will uncover a variety of methods to map places.
 
Presented in partnership with onedotzero the event will also feature a Q&A led by Shane Walter co-founder and creative director of onedotzero.

Project X: Time travel at its most puzzling – weekends 7 July to 4 November 2012
A killer concoction of time travel, murder and cryptic clues combine as the audience meet mysterious characters at various locations around Covent Garden in a new pop-up immersive theatrical adventure.

During the two hour experience, visitors will unravel the secrets of Project X and encounter a world full of impossibilities – including a mysterious future where things aren’t what they appear to be.

Project X is presented by London Transport Museum and trade secrets.
