London Olympic schedule published

February 15, 2011 by Staff

The times and dates of more than 600 separate sporting sessions comprising the 19 day London 2012 Olympic Games have been released ahead of tickets going on sale next month.

The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) has published the full schedule for the games which include details of over 640 sessions across more than 300 events, 39 disciplines, and 26 sports.

LOCOG Chair Sebastian Coe said the schedule’s publication “means that everyone – athletes, coaches, spectators, broadcasters and everybody who wants to be part of London 2012 can now start planning their Games.”

Last month LOCOG urged ports fans hoping to buy one of the 6.6 million tickets to register their interest ahead of them going sale on March 15th.

The full schedule is available from the official London2012.com website.
