London European election results

The Conservatives have taken the largest number of London’s seats in this year’s European elections, securing three seats and 27% of the vote. Labour won 21% of the vote and two MEPs with the Liberal Democrats (14%), Greens and UKIP (11%) each winning a single seat.

The Conservative share of the vote increased by 1% while Labour’s fell 4%, both the Liberal Democrats and UKIP saw their vote fall by 2% and the Green Party vote increased by 3%.

London’s eight MEPs are:
Gerard Batten (Ukip)
Mary Honeyball (Lab)
Syed Kamall (Con)
Jean Lambert (Green)
Sarah Ludford (LD)
Claude Moraes (Lab)
Charles Tannock (Con)
Marina Yannakoudakis (Con)
