All frequent users of transport are urged to apply for the twelve vacancies which require a commitment of between 2 and 5 days per month and attract a salary ranging from £2,796 to £6,990 per year plus expenses.

Members on the board are required to represent all users of public transport within London with an aim of influencing the transport policies of central Government, the Mayor of London, Transport for London and transport operators.

Calling on people to consider applying Geoff Pope, Chair of the London Assembly Transport Committee, said: ”London TravelWatch has an extremely important role. Its work to improve conditions for passengers is vital.

We are seeking people who really want to make a difference to transport services. People who are committed to ensuring transport users get a fair deal and making services more attractive are most welcome to apply.”
