Literary events at London Transport Museum

October 22, 2010 by Staff

London’s Transport Museum is next week hosting a talk on the impact of the Blitz on London by social historian Juliet Gardiner, author of the recently launched book, The Blitz, The British Under Attack.

Supporting the Museum’s new exhibition Under Attack: London, Coventry and Dresden, the talk will explore how the Blitz engendered a spirit of defiance, endurance and unity amongst Londoners and is the first in a series to be hosted by the museum.

Gardiner’s talk will be followed in November by an illustrated exploration of the “architecture, engineering and curiosities” of London’s railway termini by Oliver Green, author of Discovering London’s Railway Stations.
