Cable car construction gets underway, completion date still unknown
Construction of Boris Johnson’s cable car scheme linking the Greenwich Peninsula and the Royal Victoria Dock got underway this week but City Hall is still refusing to promise the scheme will be ready in time for next year’s Olympic Games.
TfL invites cable car sponsorship bids
Sponsors are being sought for the Mayor’s cable car scheme which connects the Greenwich Peninsula and the Royal Victoria Dock. Sponsors of the scheme would gain naming rights to stations and and the gondolas with station names included on the Tube map.
