Imran Khan accuses Channel 4 News of “significantly misleading” questions about Zac Goldsmith’s mayoral campaign

During an appearance on Channel 4 news on Friday, Mr Khan was told Goldsmith’s campaign had issued “a leaflet calling the opponent, Sadiq Khan, radical and divisive as a Muslim” and that the claim had been “seen as a huge offence by the Musilm community here in London.”

Think tank criticises Sadiq’s Khan’s “damaging” affordable housing target

According to the report, Mr Khan’s 50 per cent target could see developments filled with “high-cost homes at the expense of more modest ones” as developers seek to recoup the profits lost on the affordable units.

Delivery of official guide to City Hall elections gets underway

By law each of the 5.8 million registered voters across the 33 London boroughs must be provided with a booklet explaining the work of the Assembly and Mayor and containing an “easy to follow” guide on how to fill out the ballot papers.

Zac Goldsmith pledges to create 500,000 new jobs for London workers

Goldsmith said the jobs would be created both through his commitment to build 50,000 homes a year and his promise to “protect transport investment” from the “£1.9 billion black hole” he claims would be created by Labour rival Sadiq Khan’s pledge to freeze fares.
