HM The Queen to open 2011 British Military Tournament

This year's show will explore the UK's relationship with America
Her Majesty The Queen will attend the opening night of the 2011 The British Military Tournament which takes place at London’s Earls Court from 2 – 4 December.

The tournament is the largest performance of military theatre in the world and is held in support of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity in association with The Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity and The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund.

This theme of this year’s show is the 250-year military history of ‘the special relationship’ between the UK and United States.

The production will feature re-enactments, death-defying stunts, legendary military ceremonial set pieces, storytelling, music and state-of-the-art audiovisual.
