Hamwee Appointed Assembly Chair

May 9, 2007 by Staff

The London Assembly has appointed LibDem Peer and Assembly Member Baroness Hamwee for a fourth term as Chair of the London Assembly, with Brian Coleman AM assuming the role of Deputy Chairman.

The pair have rotated the positions since the last Assembly elections in 2004.

Baroness Hamwee said she wanted to “encourage my fellow Assembly Members to raise their sights this coming year and to do their bit to make it a good year for London.”
