Ken Livingstone and Transport for London today published the T2025 report which sets out a 20 year transport programme for London aimed at ensuring the capital’s future economic prosperity.
Launching the report Mr Livingstone said London’s continued development and economic growth meant “the transport system will have to cope with demand for an extra four million trips a day” by 2025.
According to the Mayor the report “sets out how we can decrease congestion and reduce transport’s impact on the environment, meaning that London plays it’s part in tackling climate change, which is the single biggest challenge we face.”
The T2025 report is available via the TfL website in PDF format. The executive summary of the T2025 is available from www.london.gov.uk.
