Duvall: MPA ‘Concerned’ Over Lawrence Corruption Claims

Len Duvall, Chair of the Metropolitan Police Authority has responded to the allegations of corruption made in the BBC documentary ‘The Boys Who Killed Stephen Lawrence.’

In a statement issued today Mr Duvall said “The MPA has serious concerns about the allegations” and that they “have asked the Commissioner for an update at the MPA Full Authority meeting on Thursday 27 July”.

Mr Duvall stressed that “this case is not closed and if new information comes to light the MPA’s expectation is that the MPS will carry out a full investigation.”
