Ministers urged to ensure alls votes get cast

The London Assembly has called on the coalition to change the law to ensure anyone still queuing outside a polling station when it closes is allowed to cast their vote. The call comes in a new report published by the Assembly and follows reports of voters being turned away at last year’s General Election.
