Unions reject 5-year Tube pay offer

Tube unions have rejected a five-year pay offer by London Underground with the RMT claiming it represented “a real-terms pay cut of 1.5%” for workers, putting them on course for further conflict with Mayor Boris Johnson.

Museum of London Docklands to host new Pirate exhibition

A new exhibition exploring the life and career of legendary pirate Captain Kidd opens at the Museum of London Docklands next month. The exhibition, which is timed to coincide with Kidd’s execution on 23 May 1701 in Wapping, will explore the myths and mysteries surrounding common perceptions of pirates.
