London Overground’s East London line sees passenger boost

The number of passengers using the East London branch of the London Overground has downed in the line’s first year of service according to new figures published by Transport for London.

AMs and transport experts discuss transport challenges

London Assembly Members and transport experts will take part in a special Question Time event next month looking at transport issues in the capital. The event is being organised by charity Sustrans and will take place on 1st July in London’s Living Room at City Hall.

Assembly calls for even tougher air quality targets

The London Assembly has called on the Mayor to “aim even higher” in his policies to improve the capital’s air quality. The call comes in the Assembly’s response to the Mayor’s final Air Quality Strategy which sets out City Hall’s policies and measures to tackle poor air quality which is linked to an estimated 4,300 extra premature deaths every year.
