MPs call for answers over Crossrail delays and failures

MPs have expressed concern that Crossrail services could be delayed even beyond the hoped-for 2020 revised opening date, and questioned whether the additional £2.8bn in funding allocated to the scheme will be sufficient.

TfL appoints ‘Build to Rent’ partner and promises to built 3,000 new rental homes across London

The homes will be built on existing TfL landholdings, including at Nine Elms, Hounslow West and Arnos Grove Tube stations, and the agency says the ‘Build to Rent’ partnership will deliver a minimum of 40 per cent affordable homes on each site.
