Assembly urges Mayor and TfL to be more “ambitious” in plans to cut road speeds

On Wednesday the Mayor and Transport for London announced a consultation into plans to impose a 20mph limit on all TfL controlled roads within the Congestion Charge Zone in a bid to cut the 4,000 annual deaths and serious injuries on London’s streets.

Fitbit Pay comes to London’s transport network

The fitness brand has added the ability pay for journeys using Fitbit Pay to its Fitbit Charge 3 Special Edition, Versa and Ionic models and says customers will be able to use the new feature in seven major cities around the world, including London.

TfL names preferred Silvertown Tunnel construction partner

City Hall calls in Deloitte to boost BAME progression and close ethnicity pay gap

According to the GLA’s most recent audit, BAME staff earn an average of 11.4 per cent less than their white counterparts. Although this figure fell from 16 per cent in 2017, Mayor Sadiq Khan has previously acknowledged that “there is more work to be done” to eliminate the gap.
