City Hall meetings this week

AMs will hold a series of public meetings this week
Assembly Members on the London Assembly Planning and Housing Committee will next week question senior figures from the Olympic Park Legacy Company about their vision for the park after the Games as well as proposals to place the Company under the control of the Mayor of London.

The meeting, which takes place on Tuesday afternoon from 3.30pm, will hear from Baroness Ford and Andrew Altman, Chair and Chief Executive respectively at the Olympic Park Legacy Company.

In the morning AMs on the Economic Development, Culture, Sport and Tourism Committee will question Anthony Browne, the Mayor’s Advisor for Economic Development, about the proposed abolition of the LDA and the folding in of its functions to the GLA, and the provision of skills training in the capital.

On Wednesday the Mayor’s housing advisor Richard Blakeway and David Lunts, London Regional Director of the Homes and Communities Agency, will be grilled by AMs about proposals to transfer some of the HCA’s functions to the Greater London Authority.
