Christian Choice To Launch GLA Campaign

March 27, 2008 by Staff

Christian Choice Mayor Candidate Councillor Craig will start their
campaign tomorrow afternoon with a visit of their election battle bus
to City Hall.

In the evening Mr Craig will attend a prayer rally of 25,000 Christians
to set out major policy themes which include opposing a proposed Mosque
in West Ham.

Speaking ahead of the formal campaign start Mr Craig said although he
is “unashamed about his Christian convictions” he would he would speak
out for every citizen in London if elected.

Craig said: “Week
after week 600,000 Christians meet for worship. They run 6,500 social
action projects across London, with 9,000 paid staff and 40,000
volunteers. Yet they are ignored or attacked by the secular parties. A
vote for The Christian Choice will send the signal the church counts on
the political scene”.
