Oyster top ups and Travelcards can now be collected onboard London’s 9,000 buses

Until recently, passengers needed to wait 24 hours to visit a nominated Tube or rail station to collect their top-ups, or visit one of Transport for London’s retail partners if they needed to add funds for instant travel.

TfL to transform Kingsland Road arches into new retail spaces

Located close to the junction of Kingsland Road and Old Street, the units will be given new glass shop fronts to make them attractive to retailers and the ground floor of the adjacent building at 5 Kingsland Road will be incorporated into into the arches behind it.

Met Police to use £76m vehicle renewal programme to clean up its fleet
