Audio: Sadiq Khan talks housing, life opportunities & transport

April 5, 2016 by Martin Hoscik

On Tuesday I spoke to Labour mayoral candidate Sadiq Khan about the mayor’s role in boosting parents’ ability to be positive role models, the need to ensure housing policies supported families, his plans to increase Transport for London’s commercial activities and the role of the agency’s supervisory board.

Londoners will elect a new Mayor and the 25 members of the London Assembly on May 5th. Candidates for Mayor include Conservative Zac Goldsmith, Labour’s Sadiq Khan, Liberal Democrat Caroline Pidgeon, the Green party’s Sian Berry and UKIP’s Peter Whittle.
