October 10, 2006 by Staff

The London Assembly’s Transport Committee will quiz the the Chief Executives from Metronet and Tube Lines – the private sector companies responsible for repairing the Underground – at a meeting later this week.

Andrew Lezala (Metronet) and Terry Morgan (Tube Lines) will be asked about PPP performance to date, how the PPP impacts on daily services, and progress on long term renewal of the Tube’s stations, track and trains.

The Assembly will also be questioning Metronet on the progress of its programme of station refurbishment which has fallen behind schedule and ask Tube Lines how it plans to improve performance on the Northern Line.

The meeting will take place at 2pm on Thursday, 12 October at City Hall.
