On Tuesday London Assembly Members will question senior finance officers from Greater London Authority functional bodies over the impact of the Government’s recent Comprehensive Spending Review on key services in the capital.

The meeting comes just days after reports that Ministers are to radically downscale the London Development Agency’s budget, a move likely to see many of Mayor Boris Johnson’s initiatives scrapped.

Finance chiefs from Transport for London, the Metropolitan Police Service, the Metropolitan Police Authority and the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority will appear before AMs before the meeting herds from LDA Finance Director Angie Ridgwell.

The Budget and Performance Committee meeting will take place on Tuesday 2 November from 10am in the Chamber at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).
