Altitude 360’s viewing gallery opens to public

August 10, 2010 - Staff

The viewing platform offers 360 degree views of the city
Londoners and visitors to the capital are being invited to enjoy an “Empire State Building-style viewing gallery” when Westminster’s Altitude 360 throws open the doors to the public this month.

The viewing gallery, located on the 29th floor of the Millbank Tower, offers a 360 degree view of the capital’s skyline and will open to the public from 10am until 1am for three weekends in August starting from Friday 13th.

Organisers are pitching the experience as an alternative to the London Eye and say guides will be on hand to talk about the city’s landmarks.

Peter Kerwood, Altitude London’s Marketing Director said the firm were “very excited about opening our viewing gallery to the general public. It really does offer a completely different way for visitors from home and abroad to view our amazing capital.”

Entry is priced at £10 for adults and £5.00 for children (5 to 12 years). A £29.00 VIP ticket, offering fast-track access, a complimentary Altitude 360º map to the London skyline, a souvenir photograph, a 360 degree guided tour by one of the comedians and a glass of Champagne, is also available.

Tickets are on sale though See Ticket on www.altitudelondon.com/view
