Accenture Win Olympic ‘Back Office’ Contract

The London Organising Committee has announced the selection of Accenture to run its ‘back office’ systems.

Under the contract an integrated ‘back office’ system will support planning for the games across functional areas and operations including Finance and Accounting, London 2012 Workforce and Procurement.

The contract does not cover the delivery of Games time operating systems or the core Games management systems that relay results which will be provided by Atos Origin.
