As part of its Sense and the City exhibition, the London Transport Museum is hosting a talk on fashion’s relationship with the future.
Design and fashion historian Emmanuelle Dirix will explore how the two are intrinsically bound up, using film and newsreel to examine various styles and issues concerned with the way we fashion the future.
The Sense and the City exhibition is open until March 18th 2012 and explores how emerging technologies are transforming the way we live, work and play in our cities and poses questions about mobility, society and work in the Capital over the next decade, and compares this with past visions of the future.
The talk takes place on Tuesday 22 November 2011, tickets cost £8.00 adults and £6.00 concessions
