Movie giants join forces for major O2 show

Film studios 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros. and Sony Pictures UK have joined forces with film magazine Empire to host a weekend of screenings, master classes and Q&A’s at London’s iconic O2.

Organised in partnership with Clarion Events and Empire publisher Bauer Media, the BIG SCREEN event takes place on the weekend of 12-14 August and visitors will be able to see exclusive preview screenings of upcoming films.

Stuart Williams, Deputy Managing Director and Marketing Director of Sony Pictures UK said the weekend “promises to be a hugely engaging, exciting and entertaining experience for all film fans.”

Nicola Gunstone, Group Show Director of Clarion Events predicted it would be “the most exciting live movie event seen in London to date.”

The partners have high hopes for the event with Bauer Media’s Stuart Williams predicting it would become ” an essential entry in a movie fan’s diary for many years to come.”
