London’s Transport Museum will next month host a debate on the trade-off between the freedom new technologies bring us and the price we pay in privacy.
The Shock the System debate forms part of the museum’s exhibition Sense and the City: smart, connected and on the move which explores how emerging technologies are transforming the way we live, work and play in our cities.
The panel will include the Evening Standard’s Comment Editor – Andrew Neather, the London Mayor’s Director of Environment and Digital London – Kulveer Ranger, and award-winning documentary filmmaker David Bond.
Wednesday 8 February 2012 – 6.30 to 8.00pm. Tickets cost £8.00 adults, £6.00 concessions (£10.00 adults, £8.00 concessions for combined ticket for Future Cities and Shock the System events)
