Ken Livingstone’s Election Broadcast

April 7, 2008 - Staff

An upbeat election broadcast on behalf of Ken Livingstone aired tonight showing the Mayor meeting ordinary Londoners and discussing the challenges facing the capital in the years ahead.

A spokesman for the campaign said the broadcast (available below)
“reinforces Ken’s commitment to London. It’s less an election broadcast than a film about London, Ken’s relationship to the city he loves, and the choice on May 1st in terms of the really big challenges ahead.

It’s Ken in his own words, travelling around London, from talking to individual Londoners right through to dealing with the big issues of Crossrail and the Olympics.

The inclusion of this election broadcast in no way signals support or endorsement of any candidate
