Labour accused of “opportunism” over London NHS campaign

A Labour campaign against NHS cuts in London has been condemned as “opportunism” by a leading Conservative member of the London Assembly. Shadow Shadow Health Secretary John Healey and Labour’s 2012 Mayoral candidate Ken Livingstone today launched a new campaign against what they call “the Conservative-led government’s cuts to the NHS in London”.

Natural History Museum announces major new dinosaur exhibition

A new dinosaur exhibition opening next month at London’s Natural History Museum promises to transport visitors back more than 65 million years to swamp-like Jurassic lagoons and the Cretaceous deserts, home to some weird, wonderful and now extinct plants and animals.
