Capital’s businesses say road network is getting worse

More than 60 per cent of businesses believe the capital’s road network is getting worse according to the latest CBI/KPMG London Business Survey. The survey of 188 London businesses, including responses from smaller and medium sized firms (SMEs), reveals a growing confidence in the UK’s economic prospects, with 43% of respondents saying they are more optimistic about the economy than they were six months ago.

Mayor’s attacks on coalition ‘are agreed with PM’

Boris Johnson’s attacks on coalition policy are sanctioned by Downing Street as part of a strategy to ensure a second term for the Mayor according to the Telegraph. The paper’s Benedict Brogan says such interventions are carried out under licence from the Prime Minister who is pre-warned about each attack by Johnson.
