Boris unveils £4.5m scheme to boost volunteering

Boris Johnson is hoping to encourage “thousands” of Londoners to volunteer their time and support projects which will improve the capital and help change lives. On Thursday morning the Mayor launched Team London, a £4.5m project to encourage 10,000 people to volunteer their time to good causes.

LU extends District Line consultation

City Hall sidelines council in Saatchi development bid

Boris Johnson has taken over a planning application to redevelop the Saatchi & Saatchi building in central London after the local council refused permission for the scheme. Earlier this month Camden Council refused developers Derwent London permission for project which includes plans for office and retail space and 55 flats.
