London’s New Year’s Eve fireworks tickets to go on sale this month

The display features more than 12,000 fireworks, 2,000 lighting cues and 30 tonnes of equipment, choreographed to music. Attendance is limited to ticket holders and tickets must be bought in advance via www.london.gov.uk/nye.

TfL reveals more than 360 million Hopper journeys have been made since 2016

A key pledge in the Mayor’s manifesto and launched in September 2016, the Hopper allows passengers to make unlimited journeys for £1.50 within one hour of tapping in on their first bus or tram.

TfL to impose 20mph speed limit on its central London roads

The limit will come into effect on 8.9km of main roads including Millbank, Albert Embankment, Victoria Embankment and Borough High Street by early 2020 and will be enforced through the use of fixed and mobile speed cameras.

TfL wants council bosses to publicly back joint schemes and underwrite costs in latest Oxford Street pedestrianisation fallout
