Latest YouGov poll gives Khan 16% lead over Goldsmith

According to the poll, the Labour candidate is poised to take 48% of first preference votes with Goldsmith winning 32%. After second preference votes are taken into consideration Khan would finish the race with 60% of votes with Goldsmith trailing behind on just 40%.

City Hall wins Supreme Court appeal over riot damages

The appeal related to a Sony warehouse which was destroyed in the 2011 riots and followed a Court of Appeal ruling which made the public purse liable for all consequential loss suffered by a businesses as well as the value of replacing or repairing its premises.
