Christmas shopping German style on London’s Southbank

Shoppers and tourists looking for a slightly different Christmas experience may wish to pay a visit to a German style Christmas Market which will be located on London’s Southbank from November 21st.

The Cologne Christmas Market in London promises to offer a wide range of unique hand-crafted gifts and unusual Christmas presents including wooden and tin toys, glass Christmas tree ornaments and seasonal candles.

Younger visitors will enjoy the carousel while parents are invited to to relax with a glass of “Glühwein” (German Mulled Wine), enjoy a famous German Bratwurst or indulge with roasted nuts and traditional gingerbread treats.

The market will be located between the Royal Festival Hall and London Eye and will be open from 10am and 10pm seven days a week.
