Boris Johnson will be questioned London Assembly Members about his 2012/13 budget next week.

Members of the Assembly’s Budget and Performance Committee will question the Mayor over his proposals as part of the standard budget setting process.

The Greater London Authority budget sets spending for the GLA”s functional bodies. These include Transport for London, London’s fire service and the new Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime.

In the new financial year City Hall will take on responsibility for debt incurred in purchasing Olympic land, in return for a guaranteed share of any future revenue.

The meeting takes place at City Hall from 10am on Tuesday 10th January 2012 in Committee Room 5.
