London Assembly members will this week vote on Mayor Boris Johnson’s final draft consolidated budget for 2012/13.

The budget sets spending priorities for the Greater London Authority’s functional bodies which include Transport for London and the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime.

Assembly Members last considered the Mayor’s budget on January 25th when political groups on the Assembly tabled suggested amendments.

Last week the Mayor revised his spending plans to include a reduction of £3.10 per household in City Hall’s share of the council tax.

On Thursday AMs will quiz the Mayor on the final version of his budget. Any amendments require a two-thirds majority.

Thursday 9th February 2012, 10am in the Chamber
